250+ Black Vegans Gather for Friendsgiving To Save Their Community From Dying of Traditional Thanksgiving Soul Food

I Am Surviving Vegan, a family run company with a passion for transforming  Black families into healthier lifestyles by shifting relationships with food, is hosting a 2-day Friendsgiving Holiday Celebration. This private-event series celebration, where “Coming to America” meets Modern-Day Veganism, kicks off with a members-only event that was created to show the world that being a vegan is fun, lively, tasty, and vibrant during the holiday season.

Event attendees will experience luxury living, holistic education, entertainment, and empowerment for those who are making their veganism transition. I Am Surviving Vegan teaches the world that your health is directly connected to your manifestation of wealth, abundance, and prosperity.  Both days will be filled with fellowship, mindset mastery, community talks, family fun, keynote speakers, live music with traditional African performances, and traditional soul food cuisine while focusing on the clean-eating vegan approach.

Many “Southern-style” vegans struggle during the Holidays because our current eating habits may not align with tradition. The Surviving Vegan Cooking Guide helps solve a BIG problem for many vegans, by keeping the flavoring and reducing the health risk from typical cultural foods. The surviving vegan mac ‘n cheese, fried chik’n, cornbread, dressing, banana pudding and other “down south” favorites are on the menu for I Am Surviving Vegan Friendsgiving.

During the weekend of events, attendees will indulge in foods featured in the “Surviving Vegan Soul Food Cooking Guide.” Each dish intentionally selected to make attendees not feel left out of traditional holiday favorites!
