A Deeper Dive Into the Background of Lil Keith
Keith Nelson, commonly known as Lil Keith is recognized as one of the top promoters in Houston, Texas. Coming from a rough background to where he is today has always been his dream. From joining the cast of Love & Hip Hop Houston to booking the world’s biggest entertainers, it’s safe to say Keith is a true Houston staple.
He’s cultivated events with celebrities such as Drake, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Future, Diddy, Lebron James, Jay-Z, Megan Thee Stallion, Moneybagg Yo, Quavo and too many to list here. Being active in the scene since the early 2000’s, Keith has been blessed to prosper & give back to his city in a big way. In an Instagram post by Drake, he was given the title “Houston Staple,” further cementing his name in Houston as the premiere lifestyle, entertainment and sports industry’s promoter.
Lil Keith got his start throwing parties in high school after football games, it began as something he did just to give his friends something to do but it quickly turned into a lucrative side hustle. His following on social media began to grow in the coming years due to his large events, most notably booking Young Jeezy & T.I. for All Star Weekend, drawing in over 5,000 people.
Fast forward to today, he is still booking the worlds most notable talents, most recently Moneybagg Yo, who will be performing at The Address on January 17th. His entrepreneurial spirit has also led his efforts in the direction of marketing management for professional boxers the Charlo Twins & Errol Spence.
