IMPACT Wrestling’s JONAH On Signing With IMPACT, Future Career Plans, Music, Comedy, “WrestleMania 2” & More

Keeping up 2021 strong, IMPACT Wrestling made headlines again with October 2021’s Bound For Glory. Next up pay-per-view events-wise for IMPACT is Hard To Kill on January 8, 2022, which will take place at The Factory in Deep Ellum, Texas. Meanwhile, IMPACT Wrestling itself — which airs on Thursday nights at 8:00 PM EST / 7:00 PM CST, as preceded by the Before The Impact program and followed by the IMPACT In 60 program — is regularly the highest-rated show on the AXS TV network.

One of the IMPACT stars who has people talking as of late is JONAH, who made his debut with the company last month. Prior to signing with IMPACT Wrestling, JONAH was NXT North American Champion beyond holding multiple titles in his native Australia. The “Top Dog” made his surprise debut at IMPACT’s Turning Point, attacking Josh Alexander and leaving him bloodied. All points sign to JONAH making a run at the IMPACT Wrestling World Championship, as currently held by Moose.

I had the pleasure of interviewing JONAH via Zoom on December 27, 2021, as embedded below, while staying at The Palazzo At The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas. We discussed career goals, future plans in and out of IMPACT, music, comedy and more within our chat. More on JONAH — who hosts the JONAHDROME podcast — and IMPACT can be found online via clicking here, here, here and here.
