NYC Drill Rapper Dusty Locane Releases His New Music Video “Rewind”

Bursting out of Brooklyn with a booming bass voice and a demanding demeanor, Dusty Locane is primed to continue his ascension in 2022. Completing a silent but deadly rise to the top of the NYC underworld, Dusty shares “Rewind,” his gripping new music video. Gliding atop a high-octane drill beat from Atlanta-based production duo The Atomix, Dusty warns his opposition not to do anything they can’t take back:

“If you come on the Fifth actin’ like you tough, you cannot rewind.”

Directed by Nimi Hendrix, the video finds Dusty reminiscing from his high rise, thinking about the time his handpicked crew turned the tables on the plug. The cinematic clip shows the heist and its deadly aftermath, in which Dusty and his accomplices walk away with both the cash and the weight.

Following the seductive Yung Bleu featuring “What You Need” (1.2 million views), “Rewind” is the latest video from Untamed, the Canarsie native’s debut album, which capped off a breakout 2021 for the 22-year-old artist. In December of 2021, Dusty joined the exclusive ranks of artists like Olivia Rodrigo, Coi Leray, Pooh Shiesty, and many more, by being welcomed into the #RIAAClassOf2021 for receiving his first Gold certification this year with his debut single, “Rollin N Controllin Freestyle.”
