Meet the Christian Sister Duo F. L. O. G. I. C

Almost one year to the day after releasing their debut single, “My God 4x,” Christian music’s newcomers F. L. O. G. I. C (Favored Ladies of God in Christ) released their highly-anticipated debut self-titled EP. The EP is filled with songs that embody the duo’s unique new wave of sound that they have coined as “Worship Hip Hop,” including the EP’s head-banging single “Best Man (When I Serve God).” Soft, melodic vocals and piano chords are instantly followed with boom bap beats and skillful lyrics filled with puns and speed. Sisters Breanna and Taylour Dickerson, born and raised on Long Island, New York, make up the burgeoning duo. Coming from a pentecostal C.O.G.I.C church background, F.L.O.G.I.C feels the need to make music that will reverence God. When asked what they want people to take away from their music, they said, “We want our music to transcend generational and cultural barriers. People should finish listening to our music knowing in their hearts that God is real and His word is true after they got lit and vibed out the whole time.” A hard feat that these dynamic young ladies accomplish effortlessly. F.L.O.G.I.C, whose sound has been likened to a cross between Wilson Phillips and Kendrick Lamar, is on the fast track to success. With a background in musical theatre, both sisters are electrifying on stage! They put on a show and deliver the word at the same time, an experience that must be had to truly understand.
