Darci Lynne On Her New Album “A Cowgirl’s Song,” Winning “America’s Got Talent,” Future Plans, Las Vegas & More

The youngest winner in the history of America’s Got Talent, Darci Lynne is one of the stars of the feature film A Cowgirl’s Song. The film, which opens in select theaters and goes to all key on-demand outlets on April 22, 2022, features an original song for the film that she co-wrote, “Just Breathe.” The movie is the fourth installment of the popular Cowgirls ‘N Angels series and is about teen sisters who go to live with their grandmother, a former country music legend (played by Cheryl Ladd) after their father is arrested for a crime that he didn’t commit. Filmed in Lynne’s home state of Oklahoma, the drama is a celebration of country music, featuring a soundtrack of beautiful country songs.

A Cowgirl’s Song is only one of the projects that Darci Lynne has been working on as of late. Lynne has a robust following on social media, with 4 million followers on TikTok and almost 1 million followers on Instagram. She is regularly on the road for live performances in the theaters across the U.S., and also holds the distinction of being the youngest person to star in their own NBC Christmas special.

On April 12, 2022, I had the pleasure of speaking with Darci Lynne via Zoom, as embedded below. More on Lynne, her tour dates and A Cowgirl’s Song can be found by clicking here, here and here.
