Jane Seymour On The New Acorn TV Series “Harry Wild,” Acting With Diamond Dallas Page On “The Guardians Of Justice” & More

Starring Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actress Jane Seymour (The Kominsky Method, Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman), Harry Wild will make its debut with 2 episodes on Monday, April 4, 2022 via Acorn TV, AMC Networks’ acclaimed streaming service devoted to distributing top-rated British and international television within the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. 2 new episodes of the 8-episode series will follow weekly every Monday through April 25, 2022.

As the series’ lead and co-executive producer, Jane Seymour stars as Harriet “Harry” Wild, a retiring university literature professor who is finding herself at one of life’s crossroads. Jolted from a mugging, she reluctantly agrees to recover in the home of her son Charlie (played by Kevin Ryan), a senior police detective. Wild starts to interfere in a particularly-baffling murder case Charlie is investigating when she notices the murder shares striking similarities to an obscure Elizabethan play. When Wild’s path crosses that of her mugger, Fergus Reid (played by Rohan Nedd), Harry sees great potential in the troubled teen and — instead of turning him in — Harry Wild enlists him as her sidekick.

A Dynamic Television Production, Harry Wild is produced by Dan March, Klaus Zimmermann, James Gibb, James Flynn, Morgan O’Sullivan, David McLoughlin, Jane Seymour, David Logan, Jo Spain, Bea Tammer, Catherine Mackin, Claus Wunn and Frank Seyberth. Acorn Media Enterprises and ZDF co-produce. Created and written by Logan, the series also stars Stuart Graham and Amy Huberman.

On March 22, 2022, I had the pleasure of speaking with Jane Seymour via Zoom, as embedded below. We spoke about her recent role on the Netflix series The Guardians Of Justice, which she starred in alongside Diamond Dallas Page. More on Seymour and Harry Wild can be found here, here and here.
