More Than Just a Beatmaker, Super-Producer Hardbody B-Eazy Is Changing The Game With his Songwriting, Mixing, and Engineering Capabilities

Plaquemine, Louisiana native Hardbody B-Eazy is taking the music industry by storm with his impressive production skills. Hardbody B-Eazy is mainly known for his work with rap superstar Fredo Bang, producing hits for him such as “Gangsta Talk,” ft. NLE Choppa, “Trust Issues,” “Bag Talk,” and most recently “Top” ft. Lil Durk. He was also responsible for the majority of the production, songwriting, and engineering on Bang’s latest project In The Name Of Gee (Still Most Hated).

Hardbody now has a proven track record of hits, but his journey to how he got to this point is interesting. He got his start producing when he realized the streets weren’t for him and wanted a better life for him and his son.

“I knew music was what I wanted to do early on in life,” he said in a recent interview. “It was what I was born into. My father played the drums, which is what introduced me to music. He was too heavily involved in the streets so he couldn’t reach his full potential in the music industry, but that only inspired me to make it for both of us.”

“At first, I started getting very popular producing for NWA Spitta, a local artist I was very involved with,” Hardbody B-Eazy continued. “At that time, I was rapping, but it wasn’t making me any money so I decided to double down on the production side. Then my studio, Hardbody Studios began to gain serious traction in 2016 and that’s when I saw that I could really make a full-time career out of producing.”

His dedication to producing paid off ten-fold. Growing up in Louisiana, Hardbody B-Eazy was surrounded by gang-life, selling drugs, and losing the people closest to him — but he was able to surpass many of the trials and tribulations that he faced and became an inspiration to his community. His work on NWA Spitta’s, Boyz n The Rouge, and Shottas 2, are partly responsible for his come-up and fame in his hometown.

More recently, however, Hardbody B-Eazy has been continuing to collaborate with Fredo Bang and still serves as his in-house producer. As far as what’s next for Hardbody B-Eazy, he has a new project, Key Playa, dropping sometime this year, as well as more collaborations with Fredo Bang, CJ, Coi Leray, Pooh Sheisty, Polo G, Moneybagg Yo, and JayDaYoungin coming soon.
