Rap Goddess Gangsta Boo Celebrates ‘Marriage Bootcamp’ Reality TV Debut with Memphis BBQ Pop-Up at Berkshire House in LA

The “Marriage Bootcamp: Hip Hop Edition” star was joined by Joi Gilliam and more at Los Angeles hotspot Berkshire House

Now that Gangsta Boo and her boyfriend Emmet have become loved cast members on WE tv’s Marriage Bootcamp, the legendary performer from Memphis (best known as the first female member of Three 6 Mafia)  is taking time to enjoy the little things in life…like Southern BBQ from renowned Black female Chef Joi Fowler at her very own pop-up celebratory dinner at Berkshire House in Beverly Hills.

Hype Magazine asked Boo how she feels about her new adventure in reality television, and her response was “…it feels natural. It feels like I’m just being myself. I told my friend that earlier, I said, ‘I’m not even scared of the camera.’ What you see is what you get with me, literally. I’m the f***ing crazy sweetheart, so it feels good. It feels good to see and constantly be having opportunities.”

Glowing from her recent performing success at the Beale Street Music Festival and the Memphis Grizzlies halftime show, “The Crazy Lady” is currently preparing for major upcoming festivals. Gangsta Boo is set to take the stage at this year’s Rolling Loud in Miami, Catch 21 LA Pride Festival and a line up of performances set to take place all the way until Sept of 2022.

Check out the pics from her Memphis-themed soiree where fellow legend Joi Gilliam joined in on the festivities and enjoyed the amazing cuisine. You can catch the drama surrounding Gangsta Boo every Thursday on WE tv’s newest hit reality show, and peep her new album The Boo Print coming soon.
