Success Requires Constant Effort – Defeo

Everyone wants success, but only a few understand the real meaning of success. It is not buying a luxurious car or living in a beautiful house. It is more about achieving something that one has been passionate about. Success cannot be judged by materialistic achievements. In fact, it comes with inner satisfaction, the joy of achievements, and mental peace. Success is a non-tangible achievement that one can feel but cannot see or touch. That’s what real success is. The definition of success is different for every individual – depending on one’s dreams and life goals. Those who stay true to the path and end after achieving life goals can feel the joy of success. However, no one can succeed overnight. It requires restless effort, firm belief, and day-to-day practice. Success only comes to those who stay true to their path with constant effort. One such example comes from a Swiss DJ and record producer – Angelo De Feo, well known for his stage name DEFEO.

DEFEO has been succeeding in the DJing industry because of his passion for music and making people dance to his choice of music. Most passionate DJs love to be a DJ in clubs and big music festivals. But the fear of a career failure compels them to do it for a temporary period. Most DJs give up on their passion in order to pursue a regular job to earn a livelihood. However, DEFEO has set an example for the passionate record producers and DJs to stay committed to their path – no matter how hard the challenges come. Those who do not leave the path see success waiting at the end. What happens with most individuals is that they give up at the early stage when things do not seem as glamorous as they seem during their career peak. There is no gain without pain. One needs to suffer from compromises and sacrifices to enjoy success in the end.

There are two kinds of persons; one who gives up in the middle and the other who has a firm belief in achieving something and never gives up. Those who dare to face all the difficulties reach the desired destination eventually. The same philosophy work in the DJing industry. Most wannabe DJs step into the industry, play the music they love, and make the audience dance to their groove. They love the profession, enjoy doing it every other night, and feel happy to fulfill their passion. However, the time comes when they realize that they cannot succeed in the industry, and that’s when they switch their profession to ensure a significant livelihood.

On the contrary, there are passionate DJs and record producers in the industry like DEFEO who get the ball rolling with their passion. They do not fear the consequences but stay committed to their passion. A successful DJ accepts diversities and aims to reinvent things in his music record. They are enthusiastic about their career, and they love every moment while DJing at clubs and concerts.

Born on July 22, 1991, Angelo De Feo is a Swiss DJ and record producer in Biel/Bienne in Bern, Switzerland. DEFEO began his DJing journey at a local club in 2009. Like any other common DJ, DEFEO had a sluggish start. But talent does not stay in a box; it just comes out and spreads around to get noticed by the crowd. DEFEO’s DJing skills were noticed by everyone, and he became a sensation while playing in the local clubs. Later on, DEFEO was noticed by Marc Heymoz (His actual general manager now). Marc called him to work together and invited him to join Aprod Agency. DEFEO worked in the agency for two years, and during those two years, he got the opportunity to perform at major music festivals in Switzerland. He also performed at the Miami Winter Music Conference in 2013 and 2014. Then, DEFEO resigned from the Aprod Agency. However, his general manager started a new agency in 2015 called AFFINITY. March Heymoz invited him to join the new agency. DEFEO accepted the invitation, and they both again started together.

Today, DEFEO gives his DJing performance at some major events and clubs in Switzerland. DEFEO also performs outside Switzerland. He has performed in various countries, including France, Macedonia, and United States. Currently, he also performs in Spain and the Czech Republic.
