R&B singer/songwriter TINK announces a pre-order for her newest album “Pillow Talk”, her most honest and vulnerable album to date. “Pillow Talk” will debut on Friday, August 19th, 2022 via Winter’s Diary / EMPIRE and will be available for preorder starting today, July 13th, 2022. Tink shows many sides to her personality on this album with a range of romance in one crescendo to raw honesty in a bout of wild wordplay. The album is executive produced by multi-platinum producer Hitmaka.

“Making this record was real organic. I sent Hitmaka a list of songs that I wanted to reference on my next album. ‘Cater 2 U’ by Destiny’s Child has always been a favorite of mine. We went to the studio , and I recorded my verse over just the keys. Then an hour later Hitmaka came in and added the drums and beat around it. So we really built it up in one night. We sent it to 2 Chainz and he vibed with it a lot … & that was exciting for Me!!! Hearing it all come together. Piece by piece.” explains TINK.

This album strikes a softer, more sensitive side to artist Tink with the first single off the project Cater ft. 2 Chainz hitting #1 Most Added at Urban Radio and currently charting Top 40. This new album allows for her music to punctuate her independence with songs like Goofy that are heavily reminiscent of the type of honesty you’d expect from classic 90’s R&B.

Tink exclaims these songs as her realist yet, “Many of these songs were written solely by me, I’m still pushing my pen. Hitmaka and I put a lot into this.” Playing with the name, this album indeed feels like you are, ” laying in your bed talking to your guy or girl. It’s a very sexy, soft mood.” says Tink.

Following the success of her 2021 LP “Heat of the Moment,” the new album marks a new era for the artist, who boasts signings with Empire and a co-sign by Cardi B, that recognizes her undeniable star quality as “the future of R&B.” With further releases on the horizon, Tink enters a new era of her identity that sees her grow even further into her songwriting and performing abilities.

You never have to guess what Tink’s thinking. The Chicago-born songstress and rapper says it all in her music. She spits, speaks, and sings straight from the heart without filter or apology. At the same time, she breaks boundaries, dropping off bars with uncontainable charisma and belting out hooks with show-stopping range. She can be romantic in one crescendo before getting raw in a bout of wild wordplay. This versatility consistently affirms her as a force in her own lane.

Following her 2011 debut mixtape Winter’s Diary, she dropped projects at a prolific pace, including Alter Ego, Blunts & Ballads, and Boss Up. 2014 saw Winter’s Diary 2: Forever Yours arrive to widespread critical acclaim, landing on year-end R&B album lists from Billboard and Rolling Stone. It also yielded “Treat Me Like Somebody,” which gathered 64 million Spotify streams and counting. A year later, XXL touted her among its coveted “Freshman Class.” Following a stint in the major label system, she embraced independence again with Winter’s Diary 4 [2016], Voicemails [2019], Hopeless Romantic [2020], and A Gift And A Curse [2020]. She collaborated with everyone from Sleigh Bells and Pentatonix to Future, G Herbo, 6lack, and K Camp.

During 2021, she served up Heat of the Moment powered by “Rebel” [feat. Jeremih] and “Might Let You” [feat. Davido]. After raking in streams in the hundreds of millions and earning acclaim from Pitchfork, The FADER, HYPEBEAST, and more, she opens up like never before on her 2022 album, Pillow Talk.
