Jeremih
, the multi-platinum, chart-dominating singer/songwriter, producer, and actor makes his highly anticipated return to the spotlight with the brand-new single + video  “Changes,” available today via Def Jam Recordings.

The cinematic “Changes” visual – directed by Mills Miller (Lil Wayne, Dave East, Tee Grizzley, Bon Jovi) and set in Chicago’s iconic downtown Riverwalk – depicts a relationship in the midst of heartbreak and a longing for love. The “Changes” video will make its world-premiere on BET Soul and BET Jams today, as well as BET’s Times Square billboards in New York City.

Changes” – produced by frequent collaborator and fellow Chicagoan Hitmaka – reaches back through the decades to sample Avant’s 2003 classic “Read Your Mind,” guaranteed to bring on the R&B nostalgia. “Changes” is the first new music from the upcoming fourth solo studio album by Jeremih, details to be revealed in the weeks and months ahead.

We all go back & forth sometimes with relationships and the various changes they can have,” said Jeremih. “The ups, the downs, but the best change is having someone that’ll make you stop doing what you’re doing to focus on just that.

Late Nights With Jeremih, his landmark debut mixtape release of August 2012, was commemorated earlier this year with a special 10th anniversary edition. In addition to the RIAA platinum single “All the Time” (featuring Lil Wayne and Natasha Mosley), the original mixtape boasts features from Def Jam stars 2 Chainz, YG, and Fabolous, as well as E-40, Gucci Mane, and more.

Over the course of his prolific, decorated career, Chicago-born and bred Jeremih has amassed over 17 billion streams, sold more than 4 million records worldwide and charted 18 RIAA gold, platinum, and multi-platinum hit singles, including co-writes with French Montana, Big Sean, Kanye West, Valee, Meek Mill, DJ Khaled, Chance The Rapper, and more. In 2018, Jeremih collaborated with Ty Dolla $ign on the critically acclaimed album project Mih-Ty (Def Jam/Atlantic).

ABOUT JEREMIH:

You not only hear Jeremih’s voice throughout the culture, but you also feel his inescapable and inimitable presence everywhere. The chart-dominating multiplatinum Chicago-born singer, songwriter, producer, and actor has emerged as a ubiquitous force whose reputation undoubtedly precedes him. After piling up billions of streams, earning dozens of gold, platinum, and multiplatinum plaques, and earning a GRAMMY® Award nomination, he continues to diversify his already dynamic impact with massive production credits and film and television roles in 2022 and beyond.

Jeremih catapulted to the forefront of R&B with his 2009 self-titled debut album, Jeremih. It crashed the Top 10 of the Billboard Top 200 and eventually went platinum, buoyed by the explosion of the quadruple-platinum “Birthday Sex.” Following the gold-certified All About You in 2010, he served up the platinum epic Late Nights: The Album. It marked his third consecutive Top 10 debut on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and spawned the quadruple-platinum “Don’t Tell Em” [feat. YG], quadruple-platinum “Oui,” and triple-platinum “Planez” [feat. J. Cole]—which scored a GRAMMY® Award nomination in the category of “Best R&B Performance.” Meanwhile, Pitchfork notably cited Late Nights: The Album among “The 50 Best Albums of 2015.” He maintained his momentum with the holiday mixtape Merry Christmas Lil’ Mama with Chance the Rapper [2016] and MihTy with Ty Dolla $ign, igniting the gold single “The Light.” Other notable collaborators include, 50 Cent, Kayne West, DJ Khaled, Big Sean, and DJ Snake.

After building a rapport with “Down On Me” nearly a decade prior, 50 Cent called Jeremih and asked him to play Elijah on the Starz smash Power Book IV: Force. He inhabited the character with a combination of honesty and energy, leading to a recurring role. As he grew up on Martin and the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air as well as “street classics” like Scarface, Friday, Poetic Justice, and Boomerang, it opened up the floodgates for a myriad of possibilities.

In addition to teeing up a role in the show North of the 10, Jeremih expanded his repertoire behind the board as a producer. He notably produced the lead track for Power Book IV: Force and will be cooking up more heat throughout the year. At the same time, he’s looking ahead to his next musical chapter. Closing a seven-year gap since the arrival of Late Nights: The Album, he hit the studio hard to craft its long-awaited new album follow-up. In the meantime, The Late Nights with Jeremih album will be available on streaming platforms this year, “2022”.
