Kal Penn, Rupali Redd & Jack Burditt On The New Disney Plus Series “The Santa Clauses” & More

Disney+ is the streaming home for entertainment from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic. Its library currently features over 500 films, 15,000 episodes, and 80 Disney+ Originals, much of which exclusively available through Disney+. Popular original titles within the Disney+ library include The Falcon & The Winter Soldier, The Mandalorian and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.

New from Disney+ is The Santa Clauses. A series-based continuation of the popular Santa Claus film series, Scott Calvin is indeed back. After being Santa Claus for nearly 30 years, he is as jolly as ever. But as Christmas declines in popularity, so unfortunately does his Santa magic. Calvin struggles to keep up with the demands of the job, as well as being there for his family. Upon discovering that there is a way to retire from his long-held post as Santa Claus, Calvin considers stepping down as Santa Claus and finding a worthy successor so that he can focus on becoming a better father and husband.

The Santa Clauses — which premieres on November 16, 2022 — stars Tim Allen (as Scott Calvin), Kal Penn (as Simon), Elizabeth Mitchell (as Carol/Mrs. Claus), Elizabeth Allen-Dick (as Sandra), Austin Kane (as Cal), Rupali Redd (as Grace), Matilda Lawler (as Betty) and Devin Bright (as Noel). Award-winner Jack Burditt (30 Rock, Modern Family, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) is the executive producer and showrunner of the series, alongside fellow EP’s Tim Allen, Kevin Hench, Richard Baker, Rick Messina, Jason Winer and Jon Radler; Winer and Radler produce for the Small Dog Picture Company. The Disney Branded Television series is a production of 20th Television, a part of Disney Television Studios.
