Billboard Charting Producer Tye Beats Signs To Bighead Music Group

It’s been just a few weeks since Kodak Black dropped his recent album “Kutthroat Bill Vol.1” featuring previously released singles “Walk” and “Spin” dropped uniquely together in a 2 single EP style format, both produced by Detroit based producer Tye Beats. Not long after Tye Beats has found a production home, signing with Bighead Music Group which was co-founded by producer Bighead known for his development of the Soundcloud genre sound and for producing the generational repetitive song “Gucci Gang” which redirected the course of music during its time. Bighead discovered Tye with his label co-founder and business partner Alex Loyalty shortly after they both brought Kodak Black to their studio to work on their collaborative record “Swap” which released just prior to “Walk” & “Spin”. Bighead and Alex Loyalty we’re interested in Tye’s unique Detroit sound and particularly how he was able to find a way to fit the unique vibrance of Kodak Black’s voice over his own style in both Walk and Spin. Bighead reached out to Tye over Instagram to bring him to Miami where he had been working with Lil Pump on his next album.

While in Miami we noticed Tye and Bighead in the studio with a variety of Florida artists including Loe Shimmy, FCG Heem & Trapland Pat, teasing various records on their Instagram Live’s and Stories. Ultimately Tye ended up in Los Angeles where he locked in at Bighead’s studio for nearly 2 weeks working on a variety of beats for all different artists while also beginning on new production to send out to Kodak for upcoming projects. It was in LA where Tye inked the deal with Bighead Music Group. This is a unique situation for Bighead Music as Tye will be their first Detroit based producer, and we have heard plans from the camp to begin expanding in Detroit looking for other artists and producers as well. Although Walk & Spin are Tye’s first big singles, he is no newbie to production, having made beats for over 6 years and playing a variety of instruments since he was a child. Tye has played an influential role in the Detroit scene making many hits for buzzing Detroit artists including Veeze, Baby Smoke, GMO Stax, Babytron and more. Bighead Music Group Launched this deal in a collaboration with OTR Records, an LA based record label known for records with Nipsey Hussle, Chris Brown and more.

We have also heard that Renowned Executive Producer, A&R and Producer Manager Dizzy Clean Face will be coming on board Tye’s management team. This producer partnership looks very promising, and creative shifts in the producer community are exciting for fans as the sound sends the trend for what we will hear next!
