Andwan Zonez: A Story of Overcoming Adversity and Chasing Dreams

Andwan Zonez is a rising star in the music industry, but his journey to success has not been easy. Born and raised in New Orleans, Zonez grew up surrounded by music and knew from a young age that he wanted to pursue a career in the industry. But his dreams were put on hold when Hurricane Katrina hit in 2005, destroying his home and community. Zonez and his family were forced to evacuate to Houston, where they struggled to rebuild their lives.

Despite the trauma and loss he experienced, Zonez found solace in music and began writing and recording his own tracks. After returning to New Orleans, he continued to develop his craft and started performing at local events and venues. He quickly gained a following and caught the attention of hip hop legend, The Game, who invited him to collaborate on two tracks.

Zonez’s hard work and dedication paid off when he was selected as an official artist at SXSW 2022, one of the biggest music festivals in the world. He has also had to overcome personal challenges, such as the loss of his father to drugs and having a mother who struggles with her health. Despite these obstacles, Zonez remained determined to make something positive out of his life and to use his music as a platform to inspire others.
