Brismoneyy On New Music, Founding a Record Label And More

After driving off a bridge into a river in 2021, rapper Brismoneyy takes in his near-death experience and reminds himself that he is grateful to be alive. After that life-changing event, his life changed for the better, which inspired him to follow his dreams and be a good role model to those dealing with loneliness and the stresses of trying to “make it.”

His music career took off in 2017, and since then decided to take his rapping seriously. Since the release of his first official record, Brismoneyy has been trying different sounds that tell his story and influences his listeners. With his positive energy, Brismoneyy uses deep 808’s that “knock dumb loud,” as he says, to spread the word about what he has “seen and done” in his life. “I create my sound from within,” Brismoneyy said as he describes what makes his sound unique. “I am just always trying new sounds and things I had never tried music-wise.”

With style, sound and crowd-pleasing being at the top of his list, the Bronx rapper is constantly practicing to be the best like his New York favorites Casanova, J.I. the Prince of N.Y. and Cardi B.

He also uses the trifecta formula to scout artists for his record label, Always Chasing Chicken, LLC. “The entire crowd going wild knowing all of the lyrics from that artist is key,” he said. “That’s what makes an artist a crowd pleaser.” Brismoneyy created his own record label to ensure that he gets a payout for every track he releases and performs. He also wanted to give emerging artists a support system that can help their careers take off.

Focused on his family and his music, Brismoneyy uses his drive to keep him out of a 9-5 job and stay inspired in the studio. “My family is the reason I do this; they are the reason I am not working a regular job.” He looks forward to charitable events and aspires to host his own giveback events for those with low income.
