King Wizard – Production’s Newest Rising Star

While new in the production scene, King Wizard has quickly and firmly rooted himself within the music industry, touted as having some of the best melodies in the game and having multiple of his peers brandishing him as a “genius”. Along with his manager and business partner Oliver “Big Papa” Harvey, King Wizard has created strong relationships with some of the top producers in his field, paving the way for the making of hit records. King Wizard has had many major artist releases over the past couple of years, his credits span such artists as Money Man, Lil Uzi Vert, Hotboii, Yung Miami (City Girls), and many more. One of his most exciting records was the one he did with trap GOAT Polo G. King Wizard produced the track “Don’t Play” which featured superstar Lil Baby. “Don’t Play” ranked among the highest streaming tracks on Polo G’s album “Hall Of Fame” which earned a platinum RIAA certification and #1 slot on Billboard for Rap Albums earlier this year. King Wizard recently received a gold RIAA certification for his work on “Don’t Play” an achievement which saw “Don’t Play” receiving over 75 Million streams across the United States.

King Wizard’s success wasn’t confined to the U.S. alone, he also struck a chord in his home market of the UK with rising trap wave king Nafe Smallz. Wizard worked with Nafe on his album “Legacy” producing two songs and one of the lead singles for the project. “Legacy” went on for critical acclaim in the UK landing a #1 slot on the UK Top 40 Rap Albums chart. Recently Nafe Smallz released another single produced by King Wizard “Sex On The Moon”, the song fits a sexy, wavy vibe with no expense spared on the music video with Nafe having travelled to film majority of the video in Paris.

King Wizard continues to move from success to success, having a recent Christmas release with Def Jam’s Fredo Bang. “I’ll Be Home For Christmas” is a festive trap banger that brings a refreshing take to a Christmas classic.
