“Q&A with GodFearin:
HM: Why do you consistently focus on positivity and God in your messaging, instead of the usual money-making topics?
GodFearin: Without God, I wouldn’t be able to do what I do on the mic. I’ve had close brushes with death, but through Him, I’ve been granted life. There will always be temptations to pursue the glitz and glamour, but I’m committed to following His guidance.
HM: What is your latest release, “Misunderstood,” about?
GodFearin: A person’s walk with God can often be misinterpreted by those on the outside looking in. However, you can’t let others define your journey. This is my walk, my journey.”
HM: When is your next project going to drop?
GodFearin: Wow! My next project will be hitting the streets sometime in April. I’m praying that it’s going to touch those who really listen to it. It’s gonna slap!
HM: Name some people you would like to collab with?
GodFearin: There are so many talented artists out there that have inspired me and that I admire. To do a track with the either one of the Migos or Lil Baby, would not only be crazy but impactful! Now we can’t leave Kirk Franklin and Maverick City out either. The souls they are touching is insane. Oh!!! Let’s add Tye Tribbett to that list too, I really could go on because making music to me is the art of touching people in a positive way! That’s my goal!
