DJ Cassidy will celebrate Hip Hop’s 50th anniversary by taking his highly anticipated “Pass The Mic Live!” concert series to Radio City Music Hall on Friday, July 21st where he will unite twenty-five New York native icons of Hip Hop’s Golden Age on one stage on one night, in partnership with the Black Promoter’s Collective. The historic lineup will feature Big Daddy Kane, Doug E. Fresh, Rakim, and Slick Rick, with Black Sheep, Brand Nubian, CL Smooth, Dana Dane, DoItAll of Lords Of The Underground, EPMD, Fu-Schnickens, Grandmaster Melle Mel & Scorpio, Kid ‘N Play, Kool Moe Dee, Kurtis Blow, MC Serch, MC Shan, Milk Dee of Audio Two, Monie Love, Nice ‘N Smooth, Onyx, Roxanne Shante, Special Ed, The Sugarhill Gang, Treach of Naughty By Nature, and in the tradition of “Pass The Mic,” special surprise guests. The show will be presented by Martell Cognac.

Tickets for “DJ Cassidy’s Pass the Mic Live!” at Radio City Music Hall will be on presale to American Express® card members from Tuesday, April 11th at 10:00am EST through Thursday, April 13th at 11:59pm EST. Tickets will be on sale to the general public starting Friday, April 14th at 10:00am EST. Tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster.

“Uniting twenty-five native New York icons of Hip Hop’s Golden Age on one stage on one night, in the birthplace of Hip Hop, also my hometown, in the most esteemed concert venue in the country, will be the greatest honor of my life,” says DJ Cassidy. The previously announced inaugural “Pass The Mic Live!” show will take place at the Prudential Center arena in Newark, New Jersey, on Friday, May 12th, and will feature performances by Ashanti, Fabolous, Ja Rule, Lil Kim, Ma$e, Ne-Yo, Robin Thicke, 112, and a slew of surprise guests. The event will be the first in a series of one-night-only events in partnership with the Black Promoter’s Collective taking place throughout the year, each with its own unique roster of superstar performers.

Over the past two years, DJ Cassidy transformed how we experience music with “Pass The Mic.” By celebrating and uniting his musical heroes, DJ Cassidy changed how we interact with our favorite artists and favorite songs through a game changing, culturally moving format.
