Ødyzon – Unraveling the Musical Journey of a Young Prodigy
Meet Ødyzon, the musical prodigy whose real name is Arnaud. At just 17 years old, Ødyzon has already made significant waves in the world of electronic music. His journey into the realm of music began at the tender age of 7 when he started playing the piano. Over the years, he expanded his repertoire, mastering the guitar at 11 and venturing into computer-assisted electronic music at 9.
It was electronic music that truly captured Ødyzon’s heart, and he wasted no timee in showcasing his talent to the world. At the age of 14, he fearlessly released his compositions on various platforms, attracting the attention of music enthusiasts far and wide. However, it was in March 2022 that Ødyzon’s electro remix of the track “1pliké140 CANADA” went viral in France, opening doors to exciting opportunities.
Capitol Records came knocking on Ødyzon’s door, eager to collaborate, but fate had other plans. Copyright issues intervened, preventing what could have been a groundbreaking collaboration. Despite the setback, Ødyzon persevered, and his determination led him to explore new musical horizons.
In October 2022, he delved into the enchanting world of ambient music. With a stroke of serendipity, Ødyzon’s electro version of the single “Sleepless” caught the attention of Dreamscape (the Kurate Music label). They invited him to create an ambient version of the song, and thus, the pseudonym “Ødyzon” was born, solely dedicated to his ambient compositions.
Not one to be confined by limitations, Ødyzon took a leap of faith in January 2023 and founded his own label, “Palace Records.” This empowering move granted him complete artistic freedom, enabling him to promote, distribute, and edit his compositions independently.
While already soaring to impressive heights, Ødyzon’s journey is far from over. In mid-January 2023, a momentous collaboration with the label “Deep Heads” came to light. Their joint effort resulted in two highly anticipated musical marvels. The first being a mesmerizing EP titled “Analog,” set to be released on September 1, 2023. This EP boasts five distinct tracks, including “Life,” “Magic Feeling,” “Flashback,” “3am,” and “Symphony.” Each track is skillfully infused with the essence of analog sounds, like the enchanting Rhodes, artfully modified with ingenious effects.
In addition to the EP, Ødyzon’s cosmic journey extends to his inclusion in the illustrious “Cosmic Vibrations” compilation. Scheduled for release in early 2024, this celestial project will feature an array of exceptional artists, and Ødyzon’s ambient prowess will undoubtedly weave seamlessly into this extraordinary collection.
