0Chart Topping Legends Jagged Edge, Kelly Price, Juvenile, J.T. Money, and Kut Klose Headline the 3rd Annual Pompano Fall Fest This November
Get ready to immerse yourself in the magic of Pompano Beach, FL this Thanksgiving weekend as the 3rd Annual Pompano Fall Festival arrives in style. Taking place on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Pompano Community Park located at 1660 NE 10th Street, this event promises an unforgettable experience with electrifying performances by esteemed Hip Hop and R&B giants such as Jagged Edge, Kelly Price, Juvenile, J.T.Money, Kut Klose, and a roster of legendary recording artists.”
Annually drawing nearly 15,000 attendees, this event was born out of the desire to strengthen the bond within this South Florida community, bringing together neighbors and local leaders while celebrating their collective love for the arts. In addition to the captivating performances, guests can expect to indulge the culinary delights from some of the South’s top restaurants and food trucks, explore the vendor’s village featuring a diverse array of small businesses, participate in exciting raffles and giveaways, and so much more.
During last year’s event, four (4) deserving HBCU students were awarded $5000 as well as other cash prizes in varying amounts were presented to local elementary schools in the North Broward district.
“The inspiration behind the Pompano Fall Festival stemmed from recognizing a cultural void in the Pompano Beach community,” explains Travis “T-Dogg” Gammage, festival creator and CEO of 2 Extreme Marketing. “Considering the significant presence of black and brown residents in this city and the profound influence that Hip Hop and R&B music has on South Florida, it was baffling to me that there were no events tailored to our community, apart from the sports-related ones. So instead of dwelling on this, I took it upon myself to initiate a change and create an event that could instill pride in our city. Not only did I set out and succeed in bringing notable Hip Hop & R&B acts to Pompano, but I also provided a long-overdue platform for countless talented independent artists who, despite their skills, lacked the resources to perform and share the stage with some of the most celebrated acts from past to present.”
During the last two years, eventgoers have been treated to unforgettable performances by trailblazing artists like Monica, Freddie Jackson, Dru Hill, Avant, Plies, Keke Wyatt, Silk, Rome, and Lyfe Jennings.
Some of this year’s community partners and sponsors include the City of Pompano Beach, T-Dogg’s Big Dreams Charity, Pepsi, The Trayvon Martin Foundation, Mercedes Benz of Pompano, Aids Healthcare Foundation, Frito Lay, and the Black Leadership AIDS Crisis Coalition.
This year’s festival will unquestionably go down in history as a truly unforgettable event.
