Red Bull Imagination Returns to Ft. Scott with a Twist

In the thrilling world of freeride motocross, the stage is set for another exhilarating year of Red Bull Imagination. Conceived by the legendary rider Tyler Bereman, this premier event is making its triumphant return to Fort Scott in September for its fourth consecutive year. As riders from across the globe converge, they embark on a week-long odyssey of unparalleled riding experiences, aptly named “expression sessions.” The climax of this motocross extravaganza is a single-day competition set on a custom-built course that defies imagination, preserving the spirit of freeride where riders are free to push the boundaries. Veterans Vicki Golden and Tom Parsons are joining Bereman on this thrilling journey, both with four years of experience in this awe-inspiring event.

This Year Has a  Collaborative Twist

The 2023 edition of Imagination is introducing a game-changing twist – a team competition format. While freeride has traditionally been a form of personal expression through dirtbikes, this year’s event embraces collaboration on its final day. Instead of competing as individuals, riders will unite into teams, fostering camaraderie among the field without sacrificing the competitive edge. This exciting competition takes place in person on September 30, promising an adrenaline-fueled experience for participants and spectators alike. For those unable to make it to the heart of Kansas, fear not, as the event’s highlights will be broadcast on ESPN2 on October 8, ensuring you don’t miss a moment of the action.

Course Evolution: A Dynamic Shift

In 2022, Tyler Bereman and Jason Baker of Dreamtraxx left their mark on Imagination with unprecedented creative vision. Fans can anticipate a radical transformation of the existing course, unlike anything seen in previous years. Rather than expanding in shape and size, the course will strategically consolidate, becoming denser with more opportunities for creative riding. This shift allows riders to drop in and seamlessly connect the course elements. With three days dedicated to perfecting their skills and mastering the course, competitors will be primed for the ultimate showdown on the final day.

Bereman’s Vision

Bereman himself is eager to take the event to new heights in 2023. “For 2023, I’m looking forward to one-upping the progression as a whole with the individual riders and the course itself,” he shares. “Baker has upleveled his own building skills each year by building beyond a confined box and being able to have as much creativity as he wants.”

Stellar Lineup

A star-studded cast of both returning favorites and fresh talent will grace the event’s fourth year. Notable freeride luminaries such as the 13-time X Games medalist Bereman, seven-time X Games medalist Parsons, four-time Imagination rider Golden, and Spain’s leading freerider Guillem Navas Petit are confirmed to showcase their distinctive styles in this high-stakes competition.

Tickets:

General Admission (Single Day) tickets are limited to the first 2,000 guests and will cost $49 for adults and $29 for kids 12 & under. This ticket will provide spectators:

• Free off-site parking
• Shuttle Access to and from the Imagination track
• Access to Vendor Village (Food Trucks, Bar, and Merch Booth)
• Track-side bleachers
• Kids 5 and under are free with a paid adult

VIP Package (Multi-Day) is limited to the first 75 guests and costs $450. This package includes everything offered with the General Admission ticket, plus:

• Premium Viewing in the Middle of the Course
• Complimentary Food and Drinks
• VIP Parking at the Event Site
• Course Preview on Thursday, Sept 28th During Final Rider Practice
• Meet and Greet with Athletes After the Event Concludes
• VIP Select Restrooms
• Event T-Shirt
• Kids 12 and under are free with a paid adult
