Today, HDBeenDope has dropped his newest freestyle release “BDB” marking the official launch of Roc Nation’s cross-country takeover of rap music freestyle platform, From The Block.

The video is set in front of visual artist Floyd Simmons’ iconic mural in Yonkers. Erected near the Calgary Municipal Housing complex where the late rapper used to reside, the carefully curated shooting location brings the DMX-themed takeover back to its roots.

The freestyle is a culmination of HD’s previous work honoring NY legends, which include paid tributes to DMX in collaboration with Bronx designers and stylists for his “Can’t Get Rid of Me” music video released earlier this year.
