Mark Mackay Ignites with Video for Hit Single “Dreaming in Color”
Capitalizing on his footsteps and journey, Country music luminary Mark Mackay sets the stage ablaze with the release of the scintillating lyric video for his latest hit, “Dreaming in Color.” Speaking on the inspiration behind the single, Mackay reveals, “I wrote it after hearing a podcast that some people can only dream in black and white. We thought of the hook ‘dreaming in color’ from that.” Teaming up with two-time #1 hit songwriter CJ Solar, Mackay masterfully crafted a track that pays homage to the iconic 70s Laurel Canyon rock vibes while infusing it with his own distinctive flair. “It’s been my favorite song to play out since I wrote it because it has some very unpredictable chords and a great hook,” he enthuses.
