Nahvi & DKdoitall Prepares Massive Album With “That’s It”
Nahvi and DKdoitall dropped their latest single, “That’s It,” before their album release in late spring.
The track features a solid instrumental base with old-school synthesizers and 808 hits. DKdoitall’s rapid and elegant rhythms and lyrics contrast the music’s steady pace. The combination is pleasing to the ears and leaves the listener wanting more.
Nahvi, an Indianapolis-based producer, refreshes hip-hop with jazz, soul, gospel influences, and creative sampling. Inspired by John Coltrane, A Tribe Called Quest, and Pharrell, Nahvi incorporates Latin American and African percussion for rhythmic innovation.
He has a background in classical piano and DJing, influencing his music production career. His EPs “Nahvi Made It Vol. 1 & 2″ have gained attention, with over 24,000 Soundcloud and 7,000 Spotify streams.
DKdoitall, also from Indianapolis, infuses hip-hop with R&B, soul, gospel, trap, and jazz elements. Influenced by Kanye West, Nipsey Hussle, and OutKast, he has carved out a niche with his distinctive creative approach to lyrics and a commitment to excellence that extends beyond music to his business and community engagements. His background in church and a lifelong habit of writing poetry has laid the foundation for his rap career.
