RnB ARTIST XAVIER WHITE ASKS FOR ANSWERS IN NEW EP LOVE QUESTIONS

New York-based RnB artist Xavier White releases new EP Love Questions today. Staying true to his musical roots, Xavier showcases his vocal range and stylistic choices in the six-track EP. The lyrics cover topics ranging from love and lust to insecurities faced in a relationship.

The title track “Love Questions” is a slowed down, emotional inquiry into the inner workings of love and catching feelings. It encapsulates Xavier’s laid back approach and youthful energy. “Say My Name”, a track previously released as a single, features a slower start with eclectic sounds that build up to a beat drop which encourages listeners to move along with the music. The track offers listeners an opportunity to connect to the feeling of needing reassurance and for someone to prove their love.

Comparisons can be drawn between Xavier’s style and artists such as Khalid, Cautious Clay, and others who have mastered the combination of electronic background beats and RnB vocals. However, Xavier is in a league of his own when it comes to tying together all aspects of the song and creating a culmination of his artistic abilities.

Xavier White grew up in Troy, NY and found his love for music when he performed at a family function for the first time. There was no looking back after this moment, as he began to write songs about the adversity he was facing and began to use the creative outlet as a stress reliever. In a little over a year on Spotify, Xavier’s music has been gaining worldwide attention.

Xavier’s first EP, Cancer Vs. Gemini was released in early June 2016. Cancer Vs. Gemini reached a few hundred thousand streams in its first month of being released, also making it to several popular Spotify playlists around the world including ‘Fresh Finds’ and Spotify Germany’s playlist ‘Swag!’. The debut project gave him the push to start packing out venues around New York City and performing at multiple events during SXSW 2017, his influence is quickly spreading to the east and west coasts.
