Producer Angela Marie Hutchinson Tapped as Showrunner for New Facebook Watch Series

Angela Marie Hutchinson, producer and screenwriter, has been tapped by Brat TV to serve as the showrunner for a new Facebook Watch show. The upcoming series project is an unscripted comedy docuseries that follows the life of a mega influencer as they renovate a beloved family member’s home.

Repped at A3 Artist Agency, Hutchinson has several development deals for unscripted shows in the crime and game space with production companies such as GRB.

“One of my greatest passions in the entertainment industry is to provide opportunities to others. So as the showrunner, it’s wonderful to not only be working on a timely series during Covid times but also to hire crew and cast members,” says Hutchinson.

Committed to diversity, the crew Hutchinson hired is made up of mostly women, a range of ethnicities, and diverse social perspectives. As a mother of three young children, Hutchinson shares that balancing motherhood and work life is a challenge but a great privilege.

“I am grateful to have an opportunity to show young women that we can be working moms and strong leaders in Hollywood,” says Hutchinson. “Learning how to create your own yes, when you keep hearing no has been my greatest takeaway in my career.”
