With summer right around the corner, some artists are dropping their party anthems and love jams for the eventful season ahead. However, South Carolina’s own Mark Carson is still getting over the emotional brutality that seems to come in the wintertime. In his debut EP “Night Owl” Mark Carson creates the mellow, trippy tracks to accompany that sometimes lonely feeling that engulfs the night.
After recently releasing a music video for his single “Taxi” Mark Carson goes a completely different route for his first project. Mark Carson cleverly taps into the various parts & genres of hip-hop (yes genres of hip-hop) to make a complete project that is easy to digest without being overbearing with emotion. You can still feel the energy from Carson though, on tracks like “Grapevine”, the young prodigy teams up with producer LEANBWOY to make a cohesive EP that anyone can relate to and still ride to and enjoy.
