Three Texas Sisters Build Fashion Empire

Brand hopes to inspire other budding female entrepreneurs by sharing success

Jade, Lexi Lynn and Brooke, ages 18, 25 and 21, are three sisters living one dream. Co-founders of the Jadelynn Brooke preppy fashion brand, their business has grown from their kitchen table launch to sales in 750 boutiques in less than one year.

The girls respect so many different fashion moguls who broke through industry barriers for female owned fashion brands like Diane Von Furstenberg & Tory Burch. Jade, Lexi Lynn and Brooke have unique personalities, but share a keen sense of independence and a common belief that with family anything is possible.

Inspired by their parents and grandfather “Big Daddy”, the girls grew up on a Texas ranch, where the Jadelynn Brooke operation is based. According to Brooke, “We saw a need to bring a whole lot more HAPPY into world. We wanted to create clothing to reflect messages that make you smile and to be a reflection of all the preppy people out there who love life.” We couldn’t find it so we decided to make it!” The girls divide their responsibilities according to each of their personalities and strengths. Lexi Lynn leads the design team. Brooke communicates directly with consumers and Jade overseas social media with a very youthful eye. “I guess I’m kind of the quirky one who loves Instagram and Snapchat more than life. I absolutely love engaging with our customers through all of social media platforms. Customer service is everything to us!” says Jade.

Jadelynn Brooke is literally an in-house operation. After building three different Happy Houses (warehouses) on the family ranch, the family kitchen table is still used for meetings. Lexi Lynn will be the first one to tell you, “Sometimes it’s really hard to get stuff done because we are either making fun of each other or picking on Brooke.” Proud of their southern heritage, the girls are fun-loving and business-focused. Jade will be a Texas Tech Red Raider this fall. Brooke and Lex graduated from University of Texas and both pledged the Tri-Delta sorority. The sisters believe that if they can inspire other young girls to start their own businesses than they have achieved one of their important business objectives.

The collection includes tanks, long and short-sleeved tees and a whole lot more happy. Prices range from $30 to $40.
