Honors, the Canada-bred alternative R&B group known for their #1 Global Viral Spotify chart hit “Over”, today release their newest single “Feel Better”, the first single off of their forthcoming debut album, due out in fall of this year. The fresh track oozes positivity through hardship, searching for the light in dark times with the lyrics “I feel better when I’m broken, I feel better when I’m lonely, I feel better with no money.”

“Feel Better” is a mantra for all of those who embrace their status as underdogs and overlooked. In a world where you are constantly bombarded by social media, it is easy to fall victim to the notion that your success and self worth is constantly measured against the carefully curated highlights of your peers. It is a call to arms for everyone who continues to fight and persevere in hopes of recognizing their dreams.

No strangers to the hustle, Honors wrote the track based on their own struggles to reach the top. In an industry packed with success and thirsty hopefuls, they’ve climbed numerous trails to reach their current peak, originally meeting ten years back and working on different projects before coming together to form the freshly-minted project Honors.

Along the way, they’ve collaborated with everyone from Timbaland to Boi 1da (Drake, Eminem),Illangelo (The Weeknd) and Ludwig Gorannson (Childish Gambino), while also staying in close creative quarters with Murda Beatz (Drake, Migos, Nicki Minaj), Jessie Reyes, Lou Belland Post Malone as of late. Now “Feel Better” brings the band to the forefront with their peers.

Honors’ sound has been described as “dazzling alternative R&B full of superb vocal harmonies” (Huffington Post). For more information and tickets, visit facebook.com/honorsmusic.
