0TONKS Premieres Living Room Session “St. Charles Place” via Alternative Press
South Jersey-based singer/songwriter TONKS is sharing an intimate new Living Room Session video for “St. Charles Place,” off his recently released debut album, Windows Down & Dying. Fans can watch it now on Alternative Press.
On the new video, he shares: “I wrote the main riff to St. Charles Place in an airbnb in Idaho, but i wrote the lyrics while sitting on the couch you see in this video. That couch is where a majority of the record was written.”
The solo acoustic project of Dryjacket bassist Ian Foley, TONKS offers an introspective collection of songs set to brightly shimmering melodies – amidst a quiet and unassuming melancholy. Windows Down & Dying was released last Friday, November 16th to acclaim from Billboard, Atwood Magazine, Substream Magazine, and more. It is now streaming via Apple Music and Spotify.
Foley, a multi-instrumentalist who recorded the violin, piano, and vibe as well as the guitar and vocals on his debut record, celebrated the album with a series of local album release shows.
