Dwayne Wade Hosts 6th Annual A Night on the Run Wade
The 6th Annual A Night on the Run Wade, benefiting the Wade Family Foundation, was a star-studded event that treated guests to a cocktail reception featuring a silent auction and cuisine from some of Miami’s hottest restaurants and chefs. Guests got the chance to meet and interact with their favorite Miami Heat players.
A Night on the Run Wade immersed guests in an evening where fashion and charity collide in an unforgettable evening.
Event attendees were greeted with a heavily secured red carpet that led them into an elevator ride up to Level 3. You could feel the magnetic energy that filled the rooms. Strangers laughed together and old friends became new friends all over again. Guests mingled with each other and enjoyed bites and signature cocktails.
After 2 hours, guests were led to the outdoor area where the Run Wade fashion show was set to take place. The first portion of the fashion show was all about the little ones and the teens. These young men and women strutted down the runway wearing dope clothes and kicks. The second portion of the fashion show was more of a “team effort.” Miami Heat players Hassan Whiteside, James Johnson, Bam Adebayo, Josh Richardson, Kelly Olynyk, and Udonis Haslem took over the runway with a friendly fashion strut competition. The final portion of the show was all about the professional models who showcased the Spring styles.
Dwayne Wade, Gabrielle Union, and the Wade Family Foundation raised $100,000 for Alonzo Mourning’s Overtown Youth Center.
