The All Stars Project of New Jersey Front and Center at the VMAs

On Monday, August 26, more than 20 young people and staff from the All Stars Project of New Jersey attended the 2019 Video Music Awards in Newark.  Amy Doyle, Executive Vice President and General Manager of MTV, VH1, CMT and Logo, and a member of the nonprofit All Stars’ National Board of Directors, provided the opportunity for young people from Newark and Jersey City to perform as “Pit Fans” at the VMAs.  A once-in-a-lifetime experience, All Stars Project youth and staff were just ten feet from the stage. They had an epic night full of fun, laughter, performance and appreciation.  The All Stars Project engages poverty through Afterschool Development for youth living in poor neighborhoods, providing more than 20,000 young people with programs that give them the opportunity to perform, develop and grow.
