New track released by Reggae icon Lee “Scratch” Perry
“Here Come The Warm Dreads ” is a meeting of legendary musical innovators as 
dub pioneer Lee “Scratch” Perry collaborates with polymath Brian Eno. “Here Come The Warm Dreads ” is a radical dub re-work overseen by Adrian Sherwood, re-configuring the track “Makumba Rock” from this year’s Rainford album for the forthcoming dub companion LP Heavy Rain. which is being released December 6 by On-U Sounds.
Rainford has received rave reviews from Rolling Stone, NPR, Pitchfork, Mojo, Uncut and more. The addition of remarkable guest musicians such as Eno and Vin Gordon (famous for his contributions to many classic Bob Marley records) makes Heavy Rain a highly anticipated additional chapter to the Rainford story.
Of “Here Come the Warm Dreads” Adrian Sherwood says: “When we approached Brian about working on a track he didn’t hesitate and said he would happily do something with Lee Scratch Perry.
“We worked together on a quick dub version of the track and took what was a crazy tune even further out there. I have always wanted to do something with Brian and hopefully there will be more opportunity in the future.”
Time Boom X The Upsetter Dub Sessions
UK dub godfather, Adrian Sherwood presents a live a/v attack covering his 35-year adventure with Lee “Scratch” Perry. Diving deep into the original multi-tracks, Sherwood delivers a set of live mixes from classic Sherwood X Lee Perry albums – Time Boom X De Devil Dead, From The Secret Laboratory, Dubsetter, Rainford and their latest and greatest, Heavy Rain. He’ll also be delving into legendary Upsetter Productions & Black Ark archives. Featuring visuals from long-time Perry collaborator Peter Harris. An unmissable live sonic adventure – dates below.
