Dizzy Reed On Working With Guns N’ Roses For Decades, “Rock ‘N Roll Ain’t Easy” & Future Plans

Dizzy Reed has been playing on the world’s biggest stages for close to 30 years. Beyond working with Guns N’ Roses consistently since 1990 — he is GNR’s second longest tenured musician beyond frontman Axl Rose — Reed has played on recordings by Slash, Motörhead, Tommy Stinson, Larry Norman and former Rolling Stones guitarist Mick Taylor. Reed has also regularly toured with the band Hookers N’ Blow beyond participating within the supergroup known as The Dead Daisies.

2018 brought the first ever Dizzy Reed solo album Rock ‘N Roll Ain’t Easy, as released by Golden Robot Records; two music videos from Rock ‘N Roll Ain’t Easy are embedded below for your viewing pleasure. Per my November 2019 phone interview with Reed, he explained that he currently has two more studio albums in the works, including one by the aforementioned Hookers N’ Blow. Meanwhile, more touring is to be expected from Reed in 2020 as part of both Guns N’ Roses and Hookers N’ Blow.
