Flokid Celebrates Love for His City and Late Brother in “Regal” Music Video

Rising rap artist Flokid from North Miami Beach, FL releases the video for his latest single titled “Regal.” FloKid’s song is inspired by his memories of receiving his first car. His first car was a Buick Regal and it was a gift from his late older brother who was shot and killed by senseless gun violence in 2014. When sharing his new video, he mentions to us that he has made it his priority to keep his brother’s memory alive through his music.

The new single has a beat and vibe that almost makes you feel like you’re in the Sunshine State during the summertime. The visual steps back in time to 2010 when he was first gifted a Buick Regal by his older brother. It shows a simpler times of youthful fun with his friends and ladies around his hometown, North Miami Beach, FL. The video and song pays tribute to the rapper’s brother who lost his life in 2014 due to gun violence. In the song, Flo Kid raps, “To be real, I didn’t pay for the whip. My brother gave it to me and now I’m thankful as sh*t.”  It’s just one of the many stories told on his latest project “Lil Jo-Z: A VP Story” which is available now on all streaming platforms.
