Mikoh Shares Sentimental New Single “Afterglow”

Mikoh’s second single, “Afterglow,” is out now, following debut “Bright Eyes” – both from Strange Lullabies, a series of songs to be released throughout 2020.

“Afterglow” is nostalgic and sentimental. Pretty, but a little dark. Crafted with producer Anthony Jordan (Majid Jordan, Roy Woods, Pressa), the pair played without rules, stepped outside of the box.

Mikoh tapped into her inner monologue in the wake of past relationships, good and bad, reflecting on the bittersweet parts of both. She had felt invisible to someone she wanted to love, and was experiencing a whole lot that she never had before. This song is about looking back on those times in life, where things don’t necessarily go as planned.
