Premiere: River Styx Shows Off Her Smooth Vocals In ‘Call Me Anytime’

The mixture of R&B smooth tones and incredible storytelling is blended together perfectly in River Styx’s new track ‘Call Me Anytime’ and it’s one to keep an eye on.

River Styx is a twenty-year-old, queer singer-songwriter who has always used their experiences in life to create the spicy for the recipe of being in your feelings, the worry of double texting someone and being obsessed with that special person is the main ingredient.

The L.A based artist has always been proud of being queer, but isn’t someone obsessed with their image or goals, it’s all about the music.  When it comes to this new effort it’s clear to see that this is a mixture of their love of Fall Out Boy lyricism and the different iterations of Pop, Rock and R&B that have helped create the sound being heard in the music now.

The clean-cut production is one to note upon the first listen, the gentle guitar riffs in the background next to the keyboard chords providing the much needed soundscapes.

‘Call Me Anytime’ is just ear-candy to the ears and the creative, originally from San Francisco Bay Area, is showing what they can bring to the table.
