Violinist Violeta Vicci’s inspiration for her instrumental music

Violeta is a violinist, composer and vocalist. She first picked up a violin at the age of four and has since graced many major international venues. Her debut album Autovia was produced by legendary musician and producer Martin Glover, also known as Youth (Killing Joke, The Verve, Paul McCartney)

Prolific violinist Violeta Vicci has been performing a series of unique live streams broadcasting from a different outdoor location, intended to immerse the listener in an audiovisual experience and bring them closer to her inspiration when writing the music. She performs tracks from her album Autovia, consisting of instrumental and vocal layered loops blended with electronic samples, all triggered live to create a studio quality produced sound.

Violeta’s collaborations include a stunning roster of talent, such as Thom Yorke of Radiohead on his solo project Anima, indie darlings Elbow, ambient royalty Jonsi of Sigur Rós and ‘Africa’s premier diva’ Angelique Kidjo.

She has performed at the BBC proms and has previously featured on BBC Radio 3 and BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour as well as Jools Holland, Graham Norton and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
