Munk Duane Launches Tasty New Single “Sweet Tooth”

Boston based Recording Artist, Film Composer and Producer Munk Duane channels the late 60s and early 70s Soul and Pop with dexterity. With unapologetic nods to legends such as Curtis Mayfield, Marvin Gaye, Prince and Stevie Wonder, he crafts a sonic atmosphere that is somehow both traditional and totally modern. His newest release “Sweet Tooth” is a love letter to Prince with some modern synths added to it. It’s soulful and sexy and delivers a lighter story about “temptation” in the face of fidelity, with a smooth Alt R&B vibe that pays an unapologetic homage to his musical heroes who aside from Prince include Marvin Gaye, and Stevie Wonder. The song was Mastered by Brian Lucey at Magic Garden Mastering, LA, who mastered multiple Grammy-winning albums by The Black Keys, Green Day, Lucinda Williams, The Greatest Showman Soundtrack, and more, helping to elevate Munk’s notable production chops.

“Sweet Tooth” is the follow up to Munk Duane’s late Summer release “Dangerous” (Aug. 21, 2020), which we covered here
an observational slice of Soul-Pop focusing on the siege of divisive false narratives we are plagued with, seemingly by the minute, in today’s world. “Dangerous” hit big for Munk on Spotify with listeners increasing from several hundred to tens of thousands in a few short weeks.
