0Alain Moussi On His New Movie “Jiu Jitsu,” Director Dimitri Logothetis, BJJ Training & More
In the new film Jiu Jitsu — due out on November 20, 2020 — an ancient order of Jiu Jitsu fighters faces a vicious race of alien invaders in an epic battle for the survival of Earth. Jiu Jitsu stars the ensemble cast of Alain Moussi (Kickboxer: Retaliation, Kickboxer: Vengeance), Frank Grillo (The Purge: Election Year, Captain America: Civil War), Rick Yune (Alita: Battle Angel, Olympus Has Fallen), Marie Avgeropoulos (The 100, 50/50), JuJu Chan (Wu Assassins, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword Of Destiny), Tony Jaa (Ong-Bak franchise, Furious 7) and Nicolas Cage (Mandy, National Treasure franchise). The film was co-written by Dimitri Logothetis (Kickboxer: Retaliation, Kickboxer: Vengeance) and Jim McGrath (Kickboxer: Retaliation) and directed by the aforementioned Logothetis.
The top-billed star of Jiu Jitsu is the aforementioned Alain Moussi, a well-respected actor, stuntman and martial artist. He played the lead role of Kurt Sloane in the reboot of Kickboxer series, also appearing in 2016’s Street Fighter: Resurrection. Beyond his stunt and acting work, Moussi owns and operates K2 Martial Arts (formerly NX Martial Arts and Fitness) in Orleans, Ottawa, Canada.
On November 12, 2020 — the day after I spoke with co-star JuJu Chan — I interviewed Alain Moussi about Jiu Jitsu and plenty more via Zoom, as embedded below. More information about Moussi and Jiu Jitsu can be found via www.facebook.com/JiuJitsuMovie and www.twitter.com/AlainMoussi.
