Onyx Honors Jam Master Jay With a New Video

Onyx released a video to honor the late great Jam Master Jay. The video is available @ YouTube.com/PeteSpray. January 21st would have been Jam Master Jay’s 56th birthday.

It’s a video to one of their classic songs, Stik ‘N’ Muve, the actual track that got Onyx signed to Def Jam, when they passed it as a demo to Jam Master Jay. The video is directed by Rick Almeida aka NEME$1$ from the underground collective SCHEMAPOSSE (@DaOfficialNEM).

Stik ‘N’ Muve will also be available as a limited edition 7” vinyl @ ninetynow.bigcartel.com. Pete Spray (@PeteSpray) of Ninety Now revamped the classic Onyx look for the vinyl with help of Hip-Hop photographer T. Eric Monroe (@tdoteric), who did a photoshoot for Onyx back in ’93, photos that have been unseen until now.

RIP Jam Master Jay
