TAINY and MIGUEL Drop Visuals for Single “SUNBATHE”
Multiple Latin GRAMMY® winning producer and artist Tainy, along with Grammy® Award-winning singer/songwriter, Miguel, released their single, “Sunbathe”, via NEON16. To complement the single, the pair has also dropped the official music video for “Sunbathe.” The single and video are both executive produced by NEON16, the talent and idea incubator, launched by Tainy and Lex Borrero in 2019.
Directed by Munachi Osegbu, the music video features Miguel romantically singing about a woman’s energy and reflecting on how he can’t get enough of her presence, using poetic and clever references to the sun. The inspiration for the song was to birth a track that both artists felt naturally possed movement, while at the same time could transmit genuine feelings through the melodies. This is a creative formula that Miguel is well-known for in his music and Tainy was able to capture this essence in the finished product. While producing this track, the two creatives fed off each other to create a song that focuses on finding love that shines bright in every aspect of your life.
Speaking on “Sunbathe”, Tainy explained, “Creating this track was so special for me being such a huge fan of Miguel and his work. I wanted to find the perfect way to combine our worlds and bring them together, which wasn’t really difficult because a lot of the inspiration when I create my music comes from him. He is brilliant and this song is one of my faves!”

“Sunbathe” follows Selena Gomez’s #1 single “Baila Conmigo” ft. Rauw Alejandro and “De Una Vez” from her highly anticipated Spanish EP “Revelación,” which NEON16/Tainy executive produced, as well as Tainy’s hit track “Un Dia (One Day)”, which garnered him a GRAMMY® nomination as an Artist for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and still sits on Today’s Top Hits lists. Since its release, the song has crossed over 600 million streams and has received multiple Gold and Platinum certifications around the world including 4 times platinum in the US. The track pushed Tainy’s musical style to a new level.
