Who Is Fireman Band$?

Multi-talented Brooklyn-born, LES-raised rapper, Fireman Band$ is versatile. His image and sound is a wonderful mashup of emo, melodic, dark, punk rap.

The music he’s previously released was oriented towards rap, but now that he’s getting into his full artistry and pushing the boundaries of his creativity, he’s got a collection of over 6 different types of unreleased projects, with quite a few accompanying music videos.

Having the opportunity to move to Los Angeles and further pursue his career in another major city, Fireman seized the day and has been able to exponentially surpass his set goals including recording with major producers: 808 Mafia and Bankroll to getting himself verified on Instagram.

The Hype Magazine got him to weigh in on a few things

What brought you to the entertainment industry, music specifically?

My mother was a contemporary dancer and my father was a DJ so I grew up with music instilled in me. Artists such as Jay-Z, Eminem, Busta Rhymes, and Lil Wayne really inspired me to become an artist.

What do you want people to get from your music?

I want people to have a good time and just be themselves. To think outside of the box and keep reinventing.

Tell us about your current project.

I’m releasing a single called Poison on all platforms Feb 17th and collaborating with some of the biggest producers on an EP this Spring.

For new listeners, what song of yours would you pick as an introduction to you as an artist?

Sweep. It embodies who I am and brings my energy on the track and in real life. It’s NY all day

Tell us a bit about your work and passions OUTSIDE of music…

I am CEO and Founder of text messaging app called $LANGO that mixes our slang with emojis. Download it now! I’m also heavily into giveaways. I partner with a group of millionaires to give back to young artists and entrepreneurs in need.
