Host Hakeem Rowe dominates the media scene with recent interviews with Denzel Curry, Cole Bennett, BabyTron, iayze, and more

Hakeem Rowe is a producer, interviewer, avid skateboarder, and future music mogul. He currently works as a host for popular music platform Our Generation Music and has interviewed some of the most buzzing artists in the industry. From interviewing artists such as SoFaygo and Yeat, to OhGeesy and Xaviur Wulf — Hakeem Rowe is no stranger to the game.

Recently, he’s also interviewed artists such as Denzel Curry and executives such as Lyrical Lemonade’s Cole Bennet discussing popular topics in music.

Before getting his start in hosting, Hakeem Rowe relocated to Los Angeles and worked in the famed Melrose neighborhood. While working at the Official Hat Store on Melrose, he was first discovered by Adam22 of No Jumper, who found a hilarious side in Hakeem, who was new to LA and hailed from Clarendon, Jamaica. After that, Adam brought Hakeem into the show, where he worked as a media host for three years. Hakeem arrived in Los Angeles at the age of 20 with $200 and a desire of pursuing a career in the media.

Hakeem, also known widely as AyoHakeem, made his start in the media business and showed himself as an interviewer as a result of his appearance on No Jumper. He has also demonstrated that he is capable of so much more. It was clear that Hakeem was destined to do great things. As a result, after he left No Jumper, he went to RSVP Gallery to work. Virgil Abloh and Don C. run RSVP Gallery. Hakeem works as a content creator for the Youtube Channel at this location. Hakeem, on the other hand, was laid off as RSVP Gallery briefly shuttered owing to the continuing epidemic.

But this hasn’t deterred him, in fact, it has simply spurred his next move. With the popular Instagram site OurGenerationMusic, he resumed his interviewing streak. His resume is impressive, and he has collaborated with some of the best musicians in the world.

In addition, Hakeem enjoys producing beats as a pastime. Furthermore, he presently has two song placements on Dro Fe’s most recent EP, Narco 3. He’s now pursuing a career in A&R, which will allow him to further develop his musical abilities. He’ll get the chance to show off his musical tastemaker skills there as well.
