Ring Of Honor Wrestling Star Danhausen On Future Plans In ROH, Dalton Castle, Conan O’Brien, Gwarsenio Hall & More

Ring Of Honor Wrestling Entertainment — more commonly-known as “Ring of Honor” or “ROH” — is one of the top professional companies in the world. The Baltimore, Maryland-based company launched 19 years ago in 2002 and can currently be watched on FITE TV, the FIGHT NETWORK, WATCHCHARGE.com and on hundreds of Sinclair television stations. Simply put, most of wrestling’s biggest stars of the last 2 decades have worked with or for ROH, countless world champions included.

One of the ROH stars who has had people talking as of late is Danhausen. Once described as if “Conan O’Brien got possessed by a demon” — keeping in mind that O’Brien himself is aware of Danhausen, having recently interviewed Danhausen for his Conan O’Brien Needs A Fan series — Danhausen was ranked #158 on last year’s PWI 500 chart. He picked up a victory at ROH Final Battle 2020 and was nearly victorious at ROH’s big 19th Anniversary Show in March. Simply put, Danhausen wrestling fans taking notice of him via his great matches these days, yet also has plenty of non-wrestling fans regularly watching him via his top-notch social media content.

On May 21, 2021, I had the pleasure of speaking with Danhausen via Zoom, as embedded below. Among the topics we discussed were the aforementioned Conan O’Brien, career goals, whether Gwarsenio Hall copied his look or vice versa, who the second best person (behind him) is on the Ring Of Honor roster, and favorite foods. More on Danhausen and ROH is here, here, here and here.
