Encouraging Women to Make History, the Inspirational Bahari Ibaadat

Throughout history, women have been recognized for playing an important role. Be it in literature, sports, medicine, healthcare, entertainment, or fashion, women make history every day. Some great names of women who changed the world are Anne Frank, Jane Austen, Queen Elizabeth, Malala Yousufzai, Gigi Hadid, and many more. These women have played a powerful role in the significant progress of the world in their respective fields. Not only have these women worked hard in making a name for themselves, but have also proved themselves as supportive women, helping each other grow and take steps towards a successful future. They ensure to play a great role in the growth and development of society, staying and working in the field they like. An industry where women aim to make history more often is fashion, glitz, and glamour. With that being stated, one such woman who has emerged out as a prominent model is Bahari Ibaadat, crowned as “Miss Afghanistan” in 2014.

Life is a Journey with Almost Limitless Possibilities

Bahari was born on March 21, 1993, in Kabul in Afghanistan. She holds an American nationality which she acquired after moving to the United States of America when she was only ten years old. Before that, Bahari was raised in Pakistan.

The 28-year-old model is a talented and inspirational person. She is someone who believes that working hard and uplifting each other can do wonders. Bahari believes that progressing in the field, one is passionate about, is important. More than that, she believes that encouraging other women to work hard and believe in themselves is equally essential. With a positive mindset and a neutral approach, she began working and building up her career. Stepping into the world of fashion, lights, glamour, and color, Bahari knew she had to work to make her name in the fashion industry. She also knew that for being a top model, she needs to have the essential traits for her to sustain herself in modeling and fashion.

Bahari had these traits built in her. From a positive attitude to a determined character, Bahari entered Miss Asia Pacific 2014 Supertalent of the World Season 5 in South Korea to be a predominantly individual in the industry. It was understood that the competition had quite many demands that Bahari had to fulfill, being considered one of the oldest international beauty pageants. Proving herself with this particular step in fashion, she was enlisted in the top 7 positions in the respective competition. Later on, she was crowned as Miss South West Bellevue and also completed Miss Washington Pageant. With these achievements, her next step was to work towards a better future for the entire world. To prove that women can do wonders, she started working on different projects.

Empowering Women to Set Example for Future Generations

Bahari worked as a model and appeared in different runway shows such as Portland fashion, Seattle fashion week, and Atlanta fashion week. She was also featured as a cover girl for a flight magazine called Safi Airways. Other than that, Bahari is a Former A&F model who stepped on the verge of exploring her talents even more. With the limitless talent of modeling, she wanted to do something different with her life. Belonging from a country known for its belly dance, the Afghan model also took up belly dancing, which she excels at now. She is also a break-dancer and won the Tanland title. She was awarded the best performance for the respective dance forms.

Constantly working, Bahari’s next step was to spread awareness among women. Every day, she encourages women to believe in themselves regardless of the background or hardships they have come through. Understandably, each person, especially women, faces different challenges and struggles in life. The smart approach is always to believe in oneself and make history by depicting the essence and power of being a woman. Being an example herself, she manages to take her modeling career and excel at it, that too while studying law. She is someone who is ambitious and loves traveling. Bahari has traveled to Afghanistan, Pakistan, the UK, Amsterdam, Holland, Belgium, Germany, Canada, many American states. She speaks eight different languages and wants to learn different ones over time. Bahari believes that today, encouraging women can work wonders for those who give up on their dreams due to this stereotypical society. She wishes to help women become individuals with a capacity to make their own decisions, and their entitlement to impact social change for themselves and other people. It is firmly lined up with women empowerment –principal common freedom that is key to accomplishing a more peaceful, prosperous world. She trusts that if women encourage each other to work and achieve their dreams, the world will have and give birth to other powerful women, constantly making history and helping each other grow. She wishes to take her vision forward in life, hoping to use her success as a tool to accomplish her goal of empowering women across the world!
