MTV’s Ridiculousness Host & Hip-Hop Artist Chanel West Coast Releases New Music Video For New Single “Actin Different”
Check out the newest music video from Chanel West Coast, “Actin Different,” which you can watch HERE. Directed by Nik Johnson, the video showcases Chanel embracing her inner graffiti artist – just like her father who is a Brooklyn graffiti artist – tagging her name on a wall.
The new music video follows the recent announcement of her performance on September 25th at Fiesta De Taco. Taking place in Norco, California Chanel will join some OG legends like Ice Cube, Cypress Hill, Warren G, Too $hort and more.
Chanel previously released her debut album America’s Sweetheart, which includes appearances from Too $hort, Dreezy, Porcelain Black, Salma Slims and Anaya Lovenote. The release of America’s Sweetheart is the culmination of years of hard work and hustle for Chanel.
Prior to releasing her debut album, Chanel had dropped two mixtapes, which included star-studded collaborations with heavyweights such as Snoop Dogg, French Montana, Ty Dolla $ign, Robin Thicke, and YG. Over the course of her career, she opened up for the likes of Cardi B, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Tyga, MGK, and Waka Flocka, among others in shows and tours across the country.
After sporadically dropping singles over the years, the MTV Ridiculousness co-host is pivoting back to her No. 1 passion – recording and dropping music – and taking the best of hip-hop, R&B and pop, to create her new sound.
