0Addison Timlin On Her New Film “When I’m A Moth,” Playing Hillary Clinton, “StartUp” & Plenty More
From acclaimed filmmakers Zachary Cotler and Magdalena Zyzak comes When I’m A Moth, as starring Addison Timlin as Hillary Clinton. The film’s “what if?” scenario sees a young Hillary working as a fish monger in Alaska. Possibly an “un-biopic” of Hillary Rodham, as set in 1969 Alaska. Possibly a collective dream about a young woman with only the most abstract connection to the politician. Possibly both. Either way, TJ Kayama and Toshiji Takeshima also star in this Dark Star Pictures release, which was released to all major on-demand and digital platforms within the last week on August 27, 2021.
The aforementioned Addison Timlin may be best known for her roles as Mara Chandler in StandUp, Jami Lerner in The Town That Dreaded Sundown, as Colleen Lunsford in Little Sister, and as Sasha Bingham in Californication. Other roles of Timlin’s include appearances in Best Man Down, Stand Up Guys, Zero Hour and Cashmere Mafia. Her husband Jeremy Allen White is also a notable actor.
On September 2, 2021, I had the pleasure of speaking with Addison Timlin via Zoom, as embedded below. More on Timlin and When I’m A Moth can be found by clicking here, here and here.
