IMPACT Wrestling’s Laredo Kid On “No Surrender,” Goals In IMPACT, Travel, Family, Television & More

Kicking off 2022 strong, IMPACT Wrestling will be hosting its No Surrender pay-per-view show on February 19, 2022 — as featuring World Champion Moose and Knockouts Champion Mickie James — from the Alario Center in Westwego, Louisiana. The IMPACT roster will be taping its IMPACT! show the following night at the same venue. Meanwhile, IMPACT Wrestling itself — which airs on Thursday nights at 8:00 PM EST / 7:00 PM CST — is regularly the highest-rated show on the AXS TV network.

One of the IMPACT Wrestling stars who has people talking as of late is Laredo Kid. A lucha libre legend who got his start in the wrestling business as a teenage, Laredo Kid also happens to be the current holder of the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship belt. He was ranked at number 22 within 2021’s industry-guiding PWI 500 list, also enjoying mainstream celebrity status within his native Mexico.

On February 2, 2022, I had the pleasure of speaking with Laredo Kid via Zoom, as embedded below. Beyond his signing with IMPACT Wrestling, we spoke about career goals, travel, television and family. More on Laredo Kid and IMPACT Wrestling can be found online by clicking here, here and here.
